I’m Heather Bishop, Wife, Mother of two boys, an Enneagram 8, Aries Sun/ Virgo Moon/ Libra Rising, Human Design Manifesting Generator. Oh just to name a few things about myself.

First of all, thank you for supporting Juniper Wellness – this little space is a cultivation of over 18 years of hard work, continuing education, and passion for providing a healing space.  I strive to always be learning and providing a safe and welcoming environment to all of you.

​

 I started my massage therapy career at Sarasota School of Massage in 2008 and it was a spectacular experience. I worked alongside major players in this industry - before I ever truly understood what gift I was being given!  This one choice, paved the way for ALL of this to be created and brought to you in my current hometown in Grand Haven, MI.

​

I quickly added an Esthetics License to my resume in 2011 and knew that combining the two experiences would lead to my Signature Treatment. I could never choose between medical massage or the soul nourishment that gentle  skin care can provide. I enjoy blending all of my skills together and presenting a treatment option that is tailored exactly to your needs - which may even change the next time I see you!

I love allowing clients to find that relaxation and deep rest while customizing the treatment to their specific needs. Whether you’re focused more on pain or a spa experience, I can adjust accordingly and bring in any extra modalities to create a unique session.

 While living in FL, I soaked up every experience in the resort spa industry and combined all of this knowledge to bring top notch services to you. I am always looking for more opportunities to provide the best experiences, so if you have suggestions let me know!

Outside of the Treatment room you can find me spending time with my sons enjoying nature. I am also passionate about Early Childhood Education and how our early expereinces shape our futures. I am slowly intertwining these two worlds by offering pre-teen facials and infant massage (maybe more to come soon!)

 

You can also find me hosting or attending education, enjoying new experiences with my friends, or with my nose in a book. I would love to meet you and chat - either in the treatment room or options for growing our community!
